{"id":720,"date":"2022-04-14T14:25:31","date_gmt":"2022-04-14T14:25:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/securedd.nl\/integrations\/outlook\/"},"modified":"2022-06-20T15:32:36","modified_gmt":"2022-06-20T15:32:36","slug":"outlook","status":"publish","type":"integration","link":"https:\/\/securedd.nl\/nl\/integraties\/outlook\/","title":{"rendered":"Outlook"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Most companies use Outlook in their enterprise environment or for personal use.&nbsp; With our Outlook plug-in we give users the possibility to send sensitive data in a secure way without having to leave their Microsoft workspace.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Installing Outlook plugin for secure email and secure file transfer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SECUREDD\/SSLPost Outlook plugin for secure email enables users to send secure emails, with or without attachments, using the SSLPost SFT (Secure File Transfer) platform. This platform interfaces with our central SecureEmail server or can connect to your own whitelabel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>System Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Outlook plugin for secure email requires:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Windows XP or higher (Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10)<\/li>\n<li>Outlook 2007 or higher (2010, 2013 and 2016)<\/li>\n<li>.NET Framework v4.0: Required for XP and Windows 7, starting from Windows 8, it came preinstalled, get it here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/download\/details.aspx?id=17718\"><strong>https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en<\/strong><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/download\/details.aspx?id=17718\"><strong>\u2013<\/strong><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/download\/details.aspx?id=17718\"><strong>us\/download\/details.aspx?id=17718<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note, if you already have .Net, you will get the message below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Installation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Once received;<\/p>\n<p>Close down Outlook.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Double click MSI installer, you will get the first screen:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Check the \u201cI Accept\u2026\u201d box and click \u201cInstall\u201d, you will then see the screen below:<\/p>\n<p>On successful installation, you will see this screen:<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: If the setup process did not go as described, please contact our support team at <a href=\"mailto:support@securedd.nl\"><strong><em>support@securedd.nl<\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Using SSLPost Outlook Plugin for secure email <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Upon launching Outlook, a new tab labelled \u201c<strong><em>SSLPost<\/em><\/strong>\u201d will be shown in the main outlook ribbon, this tab contains 3 buttons as the screenshot below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Buttons:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Email Info:<\/strong> Shows information returned by SSLPost, this info is available ONLY for emails sent using the SSLPost platform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Settings:<\/strong> Shows dialog box where you can customise the Plugin\u2019s working behaviour.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About:<\/strong> Shows extra info about the plugin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ALWAYS CHECK YOUR SETTINGS AFTER A MICROSOFT OUTLOOK UPDATE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After installation, by clicking on the \u201cSettings\u201d button will bring the settings dialog box, these settings are categorised into three groups:<\/p>\n<p>Authentication:<\/p>\n<p>SSLPost <strong>Email<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Password<\/strong> enable user to connect to a whitelabel server or the SECUREDD server in <strong>The Netherlands:<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/slack-redir.net\/link?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsecure.sslposteurope.com\">secure.sslposteurope.com<\/a><u>)<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Endpoint<\/strong>: The SSLPost server address where the plugin should connect: (<a href=\"https:\/\/secure.sslposteurope.com\/app\/xml\/encrypt\/\">https:\/\/secure.sslposteurope.com\/app\/xml\/encrypt\/<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><strong>*The slash at the end is essential for it to function correctly!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Recipient Log-In<\/strong>: Enforce login requirement to open secure e-mail. Recommended.<\/p>\n<p>Dialogs &amp; Notifications:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Showing Popup<\/strong>: Show\/Hide \u201cfile upload progress\u201d dialog.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notification on email sent successfully<\/strong>: Display a notification informing user that the email was sent via SSLPost.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notification if SSLPost returned an error<\/strong>: Display a notification while trying to send email via SSLPost, and the operation failed because SSLPost server identify an error within the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notification if connection failed<\/strong>: Display a notification if the plugin could not connect to SSLPost server due to lost internet connection, network failure, incorrect Endpoint set in settings or other reasons.<\/p>\n<p>Preferences:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sending Mode<\/strong>: Select Linked (L).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Downloading Mode<\/strong>: For attachments, Multiple or Single <strong>(please note, at this point in time, you must always select the single link option). <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sending Email<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just like when you use Outlook, Click \u201cNew Email\u201d, the \u201cnew email\u201d window will appear.<\/p>\n<p>Notice the presence of a new button labelled \u201cSend Securely\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Complete the basic information as usual; \u201cTo\u201d, \u201cSubject\u201d, \u201cBody\u201d and attach the files, if required.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Click \u201cSend Securely\u201d, if <strong>Show Popup<\/strong> is <strong>Checked<\/strong> then a dialog box like this should appear:<\/p>\n<p>If email is sent successfully then you should have this notification displayed:<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise, an error notification is displayed. Click \u201c<strong>Email Info<\/strong>\u201d button in the SSLPost tab to get more info on why sending the email had failed.De meeste bedrijven gebruiken Outlook om te communiceren met partners en klanten.&nbsp; Met onze Outlook en Office 365 plug-ins bieden we gebruikers de mogelijkheid om gevoelige data op een beveiligde wijze te versturen zonder aanpassingen te hoeven maken in de bekende werkwijze.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Installatie van de plug-in en beveiligd bestanden delen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Doel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SECUREDD\/SSLPost Outlook en Office 365 plug-ins voor beveiligd mailen stelt u in staat om eenvoudig en zelfs geautomatiseerd (grote) bestanden te delen met derden.<br \/>\nOns platform integreert standaard met het SECUREDD secure email platform, maar kan ook gekoppeld worden met uw eigen white label.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Systeem vereisten<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Om de Outlook plugin te gebruiken:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Windows 10\/11 of MacOS<\/li>\n<li>Outlook 2016 of Office 365<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Gebruik<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bij een herstart van Outlook zal er een nieuwe knop in de balk zijn verschenen: \u201c<strong><em>SECUREDD 365<\/em><\/strong>\u201d.<br \/>\nDe Outlook versie zal gekoppeld moeten worden aan de juiste omgeving, maar bij Office 365 komt dit vooraf ingeprogrammeerd.<br \/>\nVervolgens hoef je alleen je login gegevens in te vullen en ben je klaar voor gebruik! Middels de keywords kun je kiezen of je wilt dat er bij bepaalde woorden automatisch versleuteld verzonden wordt.<br \/>\nMet de * kun je ook er voor kiezen om alle mail versleuteld te versturen.<\/p>\n<p>Voor handmatige verzending is er ook altijd de knop \"send\" in het kopje \"SECUREDD 365\".
